Hi. Here I sit, watching the news about all the horrible things going on in the world and it dawned on me - pretty much everything is rooted in lack of money or greed. So I ask, why can't we go back to the days of trading?
I would have loved to have lived in "Cowboy" times, when women wore the big ruffled puffy dresses and men wore cowboy hats - don't ask me why, there's just something about a man in a cowboy hat.
If you could, what era would you most like to live in for a week?

Well Patricia, I love horses and cowboy hats. I even wanted to be a cowgirl and wore a cowgirl hat and chaps and rode my pony when I was a kid. I loved the cowboy movie stars. Now, I see westerns and realize they relied on guns to much for me to want to live in that era.
ReplyDeleteIf I could time travel, I would go back to the sixties knowing what I know now, changing certain choices. It was the best of times. It was the worst of times. I left a true love behind in those days.
Hi Nancy, I have to say I too would love to go back to my childhood and makes some adjustments. The only problem with that is there are some parts of my life now that I would not want to give up, and if I changed my path I don't know if they would still be here.
ReplyDeleteI never thought about the gun angle in the "cowboy days" - you are so right there!
Patricia, I would love to go back to that time too. Love a cowboy with a big 10 gallon hat and tight jeans, but really those times were good, but there was also greed back then too. The cattle rustling, horse thieves, and bank robbers.
ReplyDeleteSo, I guess no matter what time period, the human race never changes, but I can say most of the people are good people, with a few bad seeds that have sprotted.
