Blah–og

Well, I am having a tough time trying to think about something to write this week. We are getting down to the nitty-gritty for this term, and the free time I have I want to use to concentrate on my papers… maybe that is what should be the topic for conversation this week – papers.

I understand why we write papers, to make sure we can put what we have learned into practice for our careers, but it would be nice if the papers for each course did not come due at the same time. I know, I am dreaming but it is worth a try. It is not that I wait until the last minute to complete the papers, but I am finding it hard to concentrate on just the one – which kicks my multi tasking brain cells into play. It is not a good idea to try to work on both papers at the same time, I know this, but for whatever reason I cannot stop! Augh!

Oh well, no use moaning and groaning about it anymore, I need to get back into the paper mindset and try to finish them.

Good luck to everyone else with your papers!

  1. Whoo-Hoo! We have almost completed another term. Isn't that great? Each term that we complete is a term closer to completing our goal, which means that we are closer to seeing our dreams come true. Having to complete two papers at one time definately calls for multi tasking our brain cells.I find myself constructing papers in my head even as I sleep (LOL). First of all the research to find information that is needed for the topic that you were writing about, then brainstorming to decide the key points that you want to discuss did not seem as trying as trying to put your thoughts or the information into words for two different papers that are due at the same time. But, I won't complain either because it will be all worth it in the end and it will help us to be able to multi-task
    while working in our career.
    Good Luck on your papers!

  2. Hi Patricia,

I am leaving town on the 22nd for a month or so. I do not know when we can get together. I wish I knew a way for all the papers not to be due at one time. It has always been that way in college for as long as I can remember. I guess it is up to students to manage their multi-tasking, good practice for the real world. Believe me, sometimes I dream student papers!
